…in 2018 when Nicholas Strange was specializing in staffing for the gaming industry, finding top and niche talent for Microsoft. Around that time Nicholas started to dive down the crypto rabbit hole by investing in Bitcoin and following the thoughtful leaders and thinkers in the crypto space. It was through this personal adventure that he saw the crypto industry had a similar niche as the web 2 gaming needs; it was extremely hard to find talent that knew the specialized lingo, engines, and programming languages.
In 2020, Nicholas saw a quote from the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao when he decided he wanted to help solve the need for Web 3.0 staffing. Changpeng said something along the lines of “we are hiring aggressively to cope with growth”. The word “cope” stood out to Nicholas, and he decided that now was the perfect time to create a staffing company that could position itself to specialize in and add value to the Web 3.0 movement.
Nicholas didn’t want to create a company modeled after the traditional staffing methods though. He wanted to create a company of Web 3 enthusiasts that could help bring humanity to the recruiting process and make it far less metric driven.
It didn’t take more than a month for Nicholas to find the needed shoe-string funding and a small group of deeply trusted co-founders to get things off the ground. Going against the classic business advice, Crypto Talent was launched with two family members and two best friends.

Prior to starting Crypto Talent he worked with the world’s largest HR services firm to support the recruiting needs of Microsoft. He strives to connect the top candidates with the most sought-after companies in their respective industries. He has consistently built long term professional relationships and takes pride in diving beyond the job descriptions to find who companies are looking for, not what.
Nicholas has helped countless companies from small startups to large corporations have continued success by actively listening and coordinating with teams to maximize time, efficiency, and quality throughout the recruiting lifecycle process. Outside of work and Crypto he is an avid outdoorsman and thrill seeker spending time bowhunting, riding dirt bikes and mountain bikes.
Teagan Lind has deep experience building teams and recruiting top talent for premium brands focused on revolutionizing their industry through the integration of innovative technologies. He is passionate about the ways in which talent acquisition in web3 differs from other industries and the opportunity that provides for building truly powerful teams. As a recruiter, Teagan seeks to be a true consultant for any candidate he works with. Digging past hard skills to their passions, interests, and why for being in the industry to help guide them to the best opportunities for them and ensure they can best represent what makes them exceptional to potential employers. He believes that uniting people with aligned skillsets, values, and purpose creates the most successful companies and works to provide this service for all of Crypto Talent’s clients. Outside of work, Teagan is an amateur musician and all-season outdoorsman exploring the amazing wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
While being deeply knowledgeable about Bitcoin and crypto, Ryan Kittinger also has a vast knowledge of economics and talent acquisition in the web3 industry. He believes web3 will usher in a new era of human prosperity as we make the transition to the information age and the individual based economy. His goal is to connect the top minds in the world with companies bringing us closer to the future he wants to see. He has an innate ability to discover the problems and needs of a client and quickly find the right solution through his knowledge of the industry and the people involved. Ryan has been a life-long entrepreneur, starting 3 companies before the age of 20. His knowledge and life experience bring new perspective to every interaction he is a part of.
Noah Swerdloff has always enjoyed connecting with people and now finds ways to help them reach their goals by understanding their unique personalities, dreams, and passions. He is interested in technological solutions that address climate change, break down barriers to entry, and bring equity to underrepresented groups, all of which have led him to where he is now; at the intersection of environmental sustainability, blockchain technology, and people. As a recruiter Noah strives to make deep connections. He invests his time into understanding his clients’ needs, mission, and values and provides insight, counsel, and support to those who are seeking new opportunities.
Brent Strange is our Crypto Talent investor, founder, board member and startup consultant. He brings 25 years of leadership and software development skills from small, medium, and large corporations. He is vastly experienced and deeply passionate about creating customer centric company vision, mission and goals and then building and coaching high performing teams that align to the business. With a professional background in tech and in traditional banking systems he’s excited about and loves being part of the upcoming world in Web 3.0, Crypto, blockchain, and NFTs.
